In support of our commitment to improving our services and infrastructure, we will be performing the following maintenance to the BigPanda platform.

We are upgrading the underlying operating system image (AMI) on our Amazon EKS worker nodes to Amazon Linux 2023. This upgrade is required because AWS is deprecating the Amazon Linux 2 EKS-optimized images, and it ensures our infrastructure remains on a supported, security-patched platform.
What's the Impact?
We'll restart services one by one during the window, keeping everything up throughout, and coordinate with R&D so owners of affected services can monitor them during the rollout. We anticipate some latency for end users as the services are restarted.

What isn't Impacted?
All other areas of the BigPanda platform not highlighted will be unaffected by this maintenance.
